Lots Going On

Hello! We are all healthy, once more. And, it seems we've been pretty busy since I last posted anything. Peter has had a lot of activities going on, including a vocal music concert, a Cub Scout Space Race, and he learned how to use a pocket knife in scouts. We also just found out that he is in a special advanced math group. He and three other kids get special advanced assignments to work out on their own, while the other kids are with the teacher. I think it is funny that he never bothered to tell us. (Typical Kid!) Margie is very excited for her first Valentine party. She's already written out all her valentines. George is in the picture, below, with the loaves of bread he made in catechism. They were delicious. Freddie, on his own, has decided he wants to be potty trained (always a fun experience for mom and dad). And, then there is Thomas. He has learned how to climb on the couch, and thinks it's the greatest. Only, he has to learn not to stand on the couch. We finally got him so he doesn't stand in the little baby chair he likes to sit in. But, he can't seem to resist standing on the couch. The older children think this new-and-mobile Thomas is so much fun. (That is Fred and Thomas in the photo.) Thomas is also at that stage where he seems trustworthy about not putting stuff in his mouth.... but then you catch him eating some small toy or something.
